Job Summary:

PIF is seeking a high caliber candidate to join our international investments team to analyse and execute private equity and private credit investment opportunities.

General Focus Area

• Contributing to the evaluation and screening of fund and co-investment opportunities, including assessment of industry, geography, business models, financial statements, valuations, and other fundamental and technical data
• Development and analysis of financial models
• Review and analysis of investment material. Familiarity with due diligence and datarooms. Participation in due diligence calls
• Coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Creation of investment committee materials
• Monitoring and ongoing evaluation of portfolio investments

Functional Focus Area

• Exposure to and interest in private equity and/or private credit
• Analytical capabilities including development and interpretation of complex financial models
• Expertise necessary to produce accurate projections and recommendations
• Knowledge of financial statements and concepts. Knowledge of key private equity concepts
• Strong presentation and communication skills

Education and Years of experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business; Master’s degree and CFA/MBA a plus
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience (private equity, asset management, investment research, investment consulting, buy side research, fund selection, investment banking or similar)
• Good team player with a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, and high standard of work
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressured and dynamic environment with a strong eye for detail
