Job Description

Senior Internal Audit Professional

Job Summary:

PIF is seeking an individual to join the internal Audit team in order to perform International Investments planned audits and related activities (incl. risk assessments, follow-ups);.

General Focus Area

  • Deep knowledge and experience in investments life cycle and strong understanding of its risk implications;
  • Ability to understand management principles and evaluation of significant deviations from good management practices;
  • Excellent knowledge of audit methodologies, project management and risk management practices preferably in the investment management or related financial services areas;
  • Coach and mentor others within and outside of audit

 Functional Focus Area

  • Perform International Investments planned audits and related activities (incl. risk assessments, follow-ups);
  • Develop work programs, test plan for assigned engagements and ensure working papers meet the established requirements;
  • Perform audit analyses and judgements derived from larger datasets
  • Draft the audit findings and agree recommendations with management;
  • Time management to deliver assigned sections in the most effective and efficient manner possible while maintaining appropriate quality of work

Education and Years of experience:

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in an accounting / business / finance or related discipline; post graduate degree is a plus;
  • At least one of the following professional designations is required (CPA and/or CFA); other relevant professional designations are a plus (CIA,  CBV, PMP, CISA etc.);
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Risk Consulting, Internal Audit, and/or Risk Management experience at large and complex financial institutions, asset management or investment companies;
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to convince the stakeholders;
  • Ability to establish credibility with stakeholders
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business needs;
  • Strong organizational/project management skills, the ability to manage and achieve multiple deadlines;
